This Four Sided Pulled stitch is also known as Square Openwork Stitch or Four Sided Openwork Stitch and falls in the Pulled Thread Category of stitching. This stitch produces a variety of effects depending upon the amount of pull you give to the thread and the weight of the thread used.  You will find this stitch in Thea’s sampler designs such as Crimson Fire Sampler and Lilac Chatelaine Sampler.
