This filling stitch is a combination of three simple Hardanger techniques; combining Woven Bars, Diagonal Twisted Spokes and a Woven Spider Web. The open cut section is bigger than usual, to accommodate this more intricate lacework, and you have to watch carefully to see which fabric threads to cut within the open square. It is a fun and easy technique to give you a good start with these advanced needle weaving techniques!
