Stitch your own beautiful Project Notebook to keep your photos, descriptions, thread counts, or other details of each of your projects as you stitch them! Each of the specialty stitch bands is designed using a palette of beautiful pastel silks, overdyed, solids, and even some overdyed cottons; rose, lilac, blue-green, and gold, with touches of metallic and dozens of matching tiny buttons. The stitches you will learn in this design are Scotch Stitch, Satin Stitch, Algerian Eyelets, Queen Stitch, Cable Stitch, Herringbone, Arrowhead, Long Armed Cross, Tied Cross with Upright Cross and Whipped Chain Stitch. You can personalize your notebook on the back with your name and even the dates of your projects, using our lovely Alphabet included! Look back at all your past projects, your current ones, and your future ones, and make a page for each one, or keep a list of your thread stash for when you go shopping! Two lovely matching Accessories, a wee Scissors Fob and Scissors Case, complete this set of Needlework essentials! - Linda R.
This design is slightly larger than a spiral-bound note book 4 1/2” w x 6 7/8” h x 1” thick. Before you start stitching, adjustments may be necessary depending on the size of the notebook you have purchased. Measure a notebook of your choice, and cut fabric accordingly. Then stitch the front of the Notebook Cover first, then adjust the placement of the Whipped Chain Stitch Border, Book Cover Spine and Back to size. Increase or decrease your bands, adjust back and spine motifs as your notebook demands! Have fun stitching!
