LEVEL 4 - #09 “REVERSE WAVE AND PIN" PULLED STITCH AND "HEMSTITCH"
The Pulled Reverse Wave stitch can also be called the pulled Cable Stitch. Here, the Pins Stitch outlines the pulled Reverse Wave. The combination is most effective if the stitching thread is fine and matches the fabric. The basic Hemstitch found in this design is worked on both long sides of the open area so as to result in an effect like a horizontal ladder. You will find these stitches in Thea’s sampler designs Pansy Sampler and Heart to Heart.
Design area: 39h x 40w (3.3” x 3.3”)
